Tyco Minerva MX 601F & 601FEx Conventional InfraRed Flame Detector (516.600.006)

The 601F and 601FEx point-type flame detectors are part of the 600 series of conventional detectors. This range includes heat, optical, ionisation, and carbon monoxide detection technologies, and with the addition of the 601F and 601FEx, now also features infrared flame detection.

601F and 601FEx Features:
Both models are fully-featured, solar-blind flame detectors designed for indoor use, offering a high degree of false alarm immunity.

601F:

  • The standard unit designed for connection to a conventional zone of point-type fire detectors.

  • Can be mixed with other detection technologies within the same zone.

601FEx:

  • An intrinsically safe version designed for use in hazardous atmospheres.

  • Must be connected via a suitable isolator or shunt diode safety barrier in a certified Intrinsically Safe system.
